Simmering Desires

Strong, unsettling
Exceptionally Dark,
The moment you touch
My lips,
My soul ignites a spark,

My Inner Goddess purrs
Does somersaults,
A beat in my soul
My entire world halts;

It’s your smell
That sinks in me,
Settling my desires
Triggering my beliefs;

Your taste that
Lingers on my tongue,
Quenches my thirst
The older in me
Feels young;

Breathing in your smell,
I swallow you
Down my throat,

My cravings grow strong
They beguile and bloat,

Your warmth covers
My insides as a whole,
Touching every part
Bringing solace to my soul;

The taste of you
So Bitterly Brut
Brews in the adrenaline,

My wants wander
Running shivers down my spine,

Filling me in
With your love,
To the depths of my core,

Now that I see,
The scars in me
Look less sore,

The heat in you
Turns me on,
My Passions shoot
Burning Desires moan,

Steaming Hot
Unconditionally satisfying
Every cue,
Oh, My Coffee,
He’s just like you!

    Such adulation for that coffee experience, ☕

  5. First of all, I am not that avid reader. I do read at times.
    But this small piece of writing eulogizing that mood-making coffee in the most sensuous way was enough to stir me to grab a mug today. To pen down a thought of coffee in this way ain’t anyone’s “cup of coffee”. It needs one’s soul touching upon such objects to make a way for such thoughts to pour out.
    Hats off to the author. Keep it up SP!
    Waiting for more to come.
